The Sprint PCS Connection Manager may display different messages indicating a problem.

Could not prepare data services

The PCS phone was unable to access the network.  

╖ Confirm you have sufficient signal strength.

╖ Try the actions listed for 'Not in Service' error

╖ Contact Sprint for assistance.

Not activated 

Your account has not been configured.

Contact Sprint for assistance.

Not in service

The PCS phone was unable to access the network.  

╖ Verify the phone is properly connected to the computer.

╖ Verify you are within the PCS Vision network

   coverage area.

╖ Change the location or position of the computer          for better signal reception.

╖ Check with Sprint regarding your account.

PCS phone is in use

The PCS phone already has an active connection when you attempt to make another connection.

End the previous connection before opening a new one. 

Unable to prepare data services

The PCS phone was unable to access the network.  

╖ Confirm you have sufficient signal strength.

╖ Try the actions listed for 'Not in Service' error
